‘A virtually empty Stadium in Multan’ – Trolls start to pour in after Pakistan vs Nepal clash in Asia Cup 2023 draws no crowd.
The first match of the Asia Cup 2023 and it is a virtually empty stadium. Hosts Pakistan welcome Nepal in the first game of the tournament and it is a full house of chairs at Multan. Despite hosts and match favorites Babar Azam and Co have taken the field, the crowd seems to be missing from the stadiums. Fans took to social media to voice their opinion and hoped that a better crowd reception would be seen in Sri Lanka.

The opening game of such a big tournament should bring a lot of crowd into the stadium but to no avail. What is even more surprising is that Pakistan being the host of the tournament has failed to draw crowd to the stadium, that too especially in the opening game of the tournament.
Singers Aima Baig and Trishala Gurung performed in the opening ceremony of the Asia Cup 2023. But the two talented singers too had to perform in front of an empty crowd.

It took fans little to no time to begin their trolls on social media. With just 4 matches taking place in Pakistan, the rest of the matches are slated to take in Sri Lanka. The Indian Cricket Team won’t travel to Pakistan and will face both Pakistan and Nepal in Sri Lanka.
Though the Pakistan vs Nepal game, the Asia Cup 2023 opener has failed to draw any crowd, it is expected that the dynamics will change in Sri Lanka. All India’s matches will surely draw a big crowd. But it is expected that the India vs Pakistan match will draw the ost crowd of the tournament.
India begin their Asia Cup 2023 campaign by taking on Pakistan on 2nd September and then going head to head with Nepal on 4th September.
