BAN vs SL Highlights: Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka scored fifties as Sri Lanka registered a comfortable 5-wicket win over Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2023 clash. Sadeera and Asalanka came to the crease when Sri Lanka were in a tricky situation in chase of 165 but they stitched a crucial partnership to put the hosts in cruising position. Earlier, Bangladesh got bundled out for a mere 164 in SL vs BAN match. Nazmul Hossain Shanto was the lone fighter for the visitors as he scored a gritty 89. Young pacer Matheesha Pathirana was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka with 4 wickets. Maheesh Theekshana oicked 2 while Dhananjaya de Silva, Dunith Wellalage and Dasun Shanaka picked one each. Earlier, BAN captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and opted to bat first.
